Ask questions. Listen to understand. Not to respond.

And if things are still unclear, keep asking. Really seek to understand, not just to be understood. If you're still breathing, that means there is lots you don't know, no matter what your age. If you are asking just to prove your point, people can sense your contempt and disrespect for them. Be humbly curious or it's a guarantee you will be exposed as the jerk that you are.

Just sayin'...

PS - I'm learning not to be a jerk.
